UNEXPECTED "HANDICAP"

because i do so little handwriting, i hadn't noticed how difficult it is to write "nicely"with the neuropathy which is tingling and numbness in my hands - a side oeffect of chemo....
When i was trying to write a note today, it was difficult to form the letters neatly....the numbness is pretty strong in my left hand and of course that is my writing hand....
round and round goes the merry go round...
i wish i could get off.....!!!!

Because I have the same difficulty with writing anymore and because I've never gone through all the cancer therapy that you have, I don't really think that must be blamed on the chemo. I figured out pretty early that I just am not used to writing with a pencil or pen any more and, to boot, the fingers and hands do not work to full capacity. (Seems to me that was something that my primary MD said to me a few years ago, at your age [fill in the blanks] does not work in the same way. I'm not sure that will make you feel any better, but you really might consider that this disability can be blamed elsewhere, Thank god for keyboards!!!!

Love, meg

Say a prayer; I'm having surgery Tuesday am on my left shoulder (the one I broke at Transfig). Some arthritic gunk is impinging on a tendon and possibly threatening a nerve and is now painful, but also could cause further damage in the future.
Think of me is you're up early; have to be in Good Sam at 6:30; you must remember how difficult that will be for me.
